Monday Chatfield 4-6:30pm
Tuesday Clarke 6-8am swim/run    
Cherry Creek 4-5pm bike  last Aquaman race 6ish-7pm
Wednesday Clarke 6-8am swim/bike
Thursday Grange 6:30-8 swim/bike/run
Friday shake out run on your own 1-2miles
Saturday-Boulder Iron kids Tri

Practice for week of Aug. 9-13 
Start drinking lots of water, eating healthy and getting a lot of rest!
Monday   Grange 6:30-8am bike/run Chatfield 4-6:30pm run/swim/bike 
Tuesday Clarke 6:30-8am swim/run    race strategies review
Wednesday on your own: Run 13&overs 4miles (1mi warm up 2mi hard 1mi cool down)  12&unders  2miles ( .5 warmup 1mi hard .5 cool down) If you can swim for half hour this would be good!
Thursday Stretch!! Relax!! Good time to review mental game plan!! 
Short easy Half hr max bike/run if you have alternate bike to ride and are still home!
Friday we will review course and relax for race on Sat.
Saturday-Nationals!!!!!!


I will be leaving on Tuesday afternoon for SanDiego I will need to have all bikes either Monday night at Chatf. or Tues. am at Clarke so I can get them packed. I will not be able to carry all at once so I will have to take some each day. I can carry 10 at a time. 

Don't forget to register for your USAT lic. and get bikes tuned up.

Aquaman Swim/Run series at Cherry Creek State Park on Tues. July 6th. The cost of the event is $15.00 per team member. Check in is at 5:15 and warm ups are at 5:45pm

Q-Man Classic 5K Run

The Highlands Ranch Cross Country Team and Student Senate are teaming up to bring you the event of a lifetime. You are cordially invited to the first annual Q-Man Classic 5K Run. This run is a memorial run in honor of Quinton Sanford. As you may or may not know Quinton was a student at Highlands Ranch High School and an active member of the Cross Country Team. Q-Man, despite his struggle with autism showed perseverance and dedication to all things HRHS.

Quinton’s passion, positive attitude, and love for all aspects of life are qualities we believe our entire community should emulate.

  • Date: August 28th 2010
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Place: Starting and finishing in the Staff parking lot
  • Cost: $15 if you sign up before August 25th, $20 on race day
  • T-shirt with entry
  • Water and snacks provided
  • **You may pay by check on the day of the race or pay with a credit card by calling the bookkeeper, Jennifer Schneider, at (303) 387-2527. We will have a list of everyone who has registered and paid before August 25th so you may receive the $5 discount.
